Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that catalyses the hydrolysis of certain complex carbohydrates and depolymerizes hyaluronic acid, leading to its natural breakdown. Likewise, hyaluronidase, applied for cosmetic purposes, helps to drain drain areas with retained fluids. It increases dermal permeability, lymphatic drainage, blood flow and also improves the penetration of active-ingredients.
