Ferulic acid (5%): has antioxidant, photoprotective and depigmenting properties. As an antioxidant, it performs a double function: it captures free radicals, which cause cell damage, and enhances the action of other antioxidants such as vitamin C and E, protecting cellular DNA. It also reduces UVB and UVA radiation, minimizing the damage caused by the sun. On the other hand, it decreases tyrosinase activity and promotes a more homogeneous dispersion of melanin, thus acting as a depigmenting agent.
Succinic acid (2%) : tone unifier, improves the appearance of skin quality, diminishes blemishes and imperfections.Inhibits bacterial proliferation. Booster of the natural desquamation process. Thanks to its peeling effect, it helps eliminate dead cells to limit pore clogging.
Lactic Acid (15%) : is an alpha hydroxy acid with moisturizing properties, it attracts water particles thus increasing skin hydration. Its depigmenting function is due to its tyrosinase inhibiting capacity and its antioxidant action. In addition, it favors the homogenization and dispersion of melanin, thus obtaining a more uniform skin.
Butylresorcinol: depigmenting and antioxidant.
