A group of twelve professionals from the Latin American healthcare sector, specializing in general and family medicine, surgery, internal medicine, biochemistry, or nursing, visited IT Pharma with Foro Europeo, the Business School of Navarra, to learn firsthand how a leading laboratory in medical and cosmetic products for use in aesthetic medicine operates.
The visit is part of an international exchange program for these professionals, who are MBA students with an emphasis on health from universities in Colombia, Peru, and Costa Rica, and the Foro Europeo business school. Throughout the week, they are attending sessions on leadership, globalization, and team and people management.
The program, which has had more than fifteen editions thanks to the collaboration agreement between Foro Europeo and partner universities in the aforementioned countries, includes visits to companies related to the professional field of the visitors or their area of interest. In this case, the students were able to learn about the activities of IT Pharma, a manufacturer of medical and professional cosmetic products that markets to more than 40 countries, including Latin America, as well as the growth prospects for the coming years.
During the visit, Álvaro López, Sales Executive of IT Pharma and a member of the management committee, conveyed to them the value of innovation, teamwork, and good practices in a sector as regulated and yet booming in recent years as aesthetic medicine.
Finally, the meeting concluded with a relaxed networking session where attendees shared experiences and knowledge about the similarities and differences in the aesthetic sector in their countries and in Spain.
